Welcome to El Ferroviario Restaurant Parrilla, a gem nestled in the heart of Buenos Aires on Av. Reservistas Argentinos. This Argentinian restaurant transcends the typical dining experience, combining culinary excellence with an ambiance that resonates with the rich culture of Argentina.
In an inviting space just below the highway, El Ferroviario began with humble roots as a traditional parrilla, and has since evolved into a celebrated destination for both locals and visitors alike. Patrons can expect a carnival-like atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for gathering with friends - a sentiment echoed in the raving reviews shared by satisfied guests.
A key highlight of their menu is the Suprema Napolitana, a stunning dish featuring succulent chicken layered with ham, mozzarella, and accompanied by crispy fries. Designed generously for sharing among groups, its price of ARS 105,000 mirrors the size of the portions. Guests have noted how quickly the dishes arrive—within a mere 20 to 25 minutes—allowing for minimal wait and maximum enjoyment.
The authentic Argentinian grill is another must-try aspect of El Ferroviario. Many reviews laud its exceptional flavor, even if one guest mentioned it wasn’t the absolute best they’d tasted. That said, the robust flavors and juicy meats are impossible to overlook. Whether it’s the smoky charm of their grilled specialties or the delightful Mousse de Chocolate for dessert at just ARS 6,600, each dish is crafted with care, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
What sets El Ferroviario apart is not only the food but the service. Attentive staff members consistently check on diners, contributing to an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that leaves guests raving about their experience. It’s this personal touch that elevates the meal from exceptional to unforgettable.
For those craving thoughtful portions at reasonable prices, El Ferroviario is a treasure trove of culinary delights. From the hearty meat dishes to the sweet escapes like Panqueque de Dulce de Leche (ARS 7,600) and Tiramisú (ARS 8,200), there’s something for everyone.
In conclusion, if you’re in Buenos Aires and seeking a remarkable blend of flavorful Argentinian fare, vibrant atmosphere, and attentive service, look no further than El Ferroviario Restaurant Parrilla. You’ll find not just food, but an experience that celebrates the essence of Argentine dining.

5 of 5. The place and its vibes are beautiful. The people who serve you are always checking how you are doing, and they're very polite and attentive. The food is delicious and with big portions (almost all the dishes are to share with at least 3 people); we have all the dishes on the table just 20/25 minutes after they took our orden. It's the perfect place to go with friends and have a nice dinner.

Best meal we had in Argentina. Absolutely amazing. You are a fool if you don’t go. A half portion was enough food for two adults to eat for two days.

Great restaurant that’s highly recommended by locals. The portions are HUGE, the service is great, and prices are low compared to spots like Don Julio, La Cabrera, etc. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Unbelievable service. Food is amazing. Great pricing. Great enviorement. I would totally recommend. As many said, the most "local" place I visited and really great food. My only negative point about it is that I went solo and they could have send less food. I asked for separated foods but It might be misscommunication. Just to avoid wasting. Other than that, nothing bad to say about it.

Where to begin! First, I have to highlight the excellent service from our waitress Nicole, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The portions are absolutely massive, something to keep in mind when reading the menu and looking at the prices. Most dishes easily serve three to four people, depending on what you order. The milanesas were incredible, and so was the carne. For dessert, we had flan, volcán de chocolate, and panqueques; all rich, indulgent, and delicious. They’re definitely generous with portions and flavours; nothing feels skimpy. We went to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and they brought us a slice of cake with candles, and the entire restaurant joined in singing happy birthday. It was such a lovely moment. Truly, a beautiful experience that captures the very best of Argentina in one place.

The most traditional and authentic restaurant we visited while in Argentina. A place not meant for tourists. Excellent service, delicious food and amazing beef cuts. The place is super busy even in single days. I guess on the weekends it must be impossible to enter if you don’t have a reservation. An amazing concept over all. I’d love to re visit if I ever return to Argentina. Our love from Greece
